Our place is located in Rajni Vihar, over in the Heerapura area near Ajmer Road. Jaipur is a big city, but this corner feels a bit more like a regular neighborhood. The office is at number 386. We’ve got a basic setup here where we manage the local distribution and keep track of what’s coming and going. It’s a busy road outside, so there’s always noise from the traffic heading towards Ajmer. Inside, it’s mostly just us looking over spreadsheets and answering the phone when it rings. We don’t go in for anything flashy. There’s a small area where visitors can sit if they need to wait for a minute. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and some old maps of the district. Every day starts about the same, with a cup of tea and a quick look at the delivery schedules. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in if we leave the door open too long, so we try to keep it shut. We’ve been at this address for a bit, so the local shopkeepers know us. It’s not a complicated operation, just honest work and making sure the bags get to where they need to go. We keep a few samples in the corner, but mostly it’s just desks and paperwork. It’s a practical office for a practical job. We like being out this way, away from the very center of the city.
