Shree Cement Ltd, Beawar, Raj

We are located at Quarter Number B-4 in the Shree Vihar colony, right there at the Shree Cement site in Beawar. Living and working in the same colony makes for a very specific kind of day for us. You wake up and see the same people you’ll be working with in an hour or two. Shree Vihar is a quiet, planned area. It has rows of similar houses and some trees that we’ve watched grow over the years we've been here. Our spot at B-4 serves as our base of operations. It is not a large space, but it is enough for the desks and the files we need to keep everything running correctly. Simple cream paint covers the walls. We have a few fans going all day to move the air around when it gets stuffy. Since we are right on the company grounds, there is no need to deal with the noise of the main town or a long commute. It’s mostly just the sound of the wind or the distant hum from the plant. A small kitchen area provides a place to make our tea and heat up our lunch. It feels more like a home than a regular office, which makes the work feel a bit more relaxed. Time is spent going through the daily logs and making sure the schedules are being met as they should be. It’s a very steady and predictable life here in the colony. We just focus on doing our jobs properly every day.
