Shree Cement Limited

We’ve been at 2-Ja-13 here in Jaipur for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Rajasthan, postcode 302004. Dealing with cement means there is always dust around, and the trucks come in at all hours. Shree Cement Limited isn't a fancy office. It’s just where we work every day. Some days it is loud, and other days it is just the sound of papers moving around the desks. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks and chat about nothing in particular. We deal with lots of paperwork and keeping track of all the bags coming in. The neighbors know us by name now. It is not a complicated life. Just a job in a busy part of town. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes getting things in and out a bit of a headache for the drivers. But we manage. Most of us have been here long enough to know the shortcuts. Being in Jaipur, the summers get really hot, so the fans are always on full blast to keep us from melting. We just focus on getting the day's work done without too much fuss or ceremony. It is an honest living. You see the same faces every single morning. We do not have big meetings or anything like that. Just regular people doing their bit at this address. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need right now.
