This branch is out in Bangur City, specifically over in the V.P.-Ras area of Pali. Chetan Kumar is the person who looks after things here. We are reached via Beawar, so there is a lot of back and forth on that road. It’s a bit of a drive, but that’s the nature of being out in the Pali district. The environment here is very industrial because of the Bangur City setup. You see a lot of cement dust and big trucks moving around all hours of the day. It’s not the kind of place you’d go for a quiet walk, but for what we do, it’s exactly where we need to be. We handle the logistical side of Shree Cement Limited from this location. It’s a lot of checking manifests and making sure the production from Ras gets to where it’s supposed to go. The office is functional and built for work, not for showing off. We have a lot of local guys working here who know the roads around Pali like the back of their hands. It's a practical operation through and through. The days can be long, especially when there are delays on the highway, but we just manage it as it comes. We don't use any complicated systems, just regular record-keeping and a lot of phone calls to coordinate the movements. It’s a gritty, hardworking atmosphere and that suits us just fine. We just focus on keeping the trucks moving and the tallies correct every single day without any unnecessary corporate talk.
