Shivkripa Maternity And General Hospital is located at A-43 in Laxmi Nagar. We do a lot of different things here but a big part of our day is helping mothers with their new babies. It can get pretty loud with all the crying infants but it’s a happy kind of noise most of the time. We also handle general hospital work for anyone else in Laxmi Nagar who isn't feeling well. The building is an older one but we keep it functional. It’s tucked into the residential part of the neighborhood. This means we know a lot of the families living on the surrounding streets. We’ve seen kids grow up and then bring their own families here years later. It’s a strange feeling sometimes. We have a few beds for the maternity ward and a separate area for general patients. The staff is small so we all end up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes the doctor is also helping with the paperwork at the front desk when things get busy. It’s just how we manage things at a smaller place like this. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign out front. People just know the address. Laxmi Nagar is a tight community and we are just one part of it. We try to be honest with people about what we can do and what we can't. It's a busy life but we enjoy being here for our neighbors.
