Shivam Hospital

In the Tampi Tehsil area of Sanchor, you’ll find our Shivam Hospital. It’s a rural spot, so things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. The dust from the dry ground often blows into the entryway, so we are always sweeping. We’ve been here serving the Tampi area for a long time. People come from the surrounding villages, often traveling quite a distance on tractors or bikes. The hospital building is a basic one-story structure with a flat roof. We have a few fans that hum all day long to keep the air moving. It’s not a place with air conditioning in every room, but it stays cool enough. We know the farmers and their families who live around here. Most of our day is spent listening to people’s stories and trying to fix their aches and pains. We don't have a big staff, just a few dedicated people who show up every single day. There’s no big neon sign, just a painted board out front. We keep our supplies in wooden cabinets. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great, but we make it work. It’s a humble place, and we don't try to pretend it's anything else. We are just here in Sanchor because this is where the help is needed. Life is simple, and so is our hospital. We do what we can with what we have.
