Our office is located at B-20 in Kala Colony, right in Malviya Nagar. If you know where the Genpact building is, we are just behind that area. It’s a pretty central location, but Kala Colony has its own pace. We spend a lot of time looking at site maps and technical drawings spread out over the old wooden tables. The office isn't very large, so it can get a bit cramped when everyone is back from the field at the same time. We have a lot of files stored in cabinets that have seen better days, but we know where everything is. In the summer, the air conditioner works overtime, and we mostly stay inside planning the next stages of our infrastructure projects. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of talk about materials, timelines, and logistics. Sometimes we just sit around and discuss the challenges of the current site over a quick cup of coffee. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's habits. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see us working. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s fairly calm until the evening rush starts. We like the balance of being close to the action without being right in the middle of a commercial hub. It's just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized and get the jobs finished.
