Shining Photo

Shining Photo is located right in the middle of the action at Chandpole Bazar. We are near Subhash Chowk on the old Amer Road. If you have ever been to this part of Jaipur, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our shop is a small place where we have been taking photos and printing them for years. We have backdrops and lights set up in the back for portraits. Most of our days are spent taking passport photos or helping people print out memories from their phones. The walls are covered with old frames and samples of photos we have taken over time. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when a whole family comes in for a group picture, but we make it work. The street noise from Chandpole Bazar is always there, with bikes honking and people shouting, but inside the shop, we try to keep things a bit calmer. Sometimes the printer runs out of ink right when we are busy, or the lighting needs to be adjusted for the hundredth time. We don't do anything too fancy, just honest photography for the people who live around Amer Road. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We just enjoy capturing people's faces and giving them something they can take home. It is a simple life in a very busy part of the city.
