Shekhawati Motor

Shekhawati Motor sits on the Jalupura Link Road, right off M.I Road. If you’ve ever driven through this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and full of noise. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while now, and the walls show it. They could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we usually have too much going on to worry about that. The shop is filled with the smell of oil and old metal, which is how we like it. We’re not the type to wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we are out on the floor, hands dirty, looking at whatever needs fixing or sorting through parts. The Link Road can be a bit tight, especially when deliveries are arriving, but we make it work. Most of our regulars know to just pull up wherever there is a gap. We have a small bench near the back where we take our breaks and drink tea from the stall around the corner. It’s a local business through and through, where people come to talk shop and get what they need without a lot of fuss. The traffic on M.I Road never seems to stop, but inside here, we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know best. We’ve grown used to the hum of the city right outside our door.
