Sharma Dental Hospital

The clinic is located right at Krishna Nagar Mode. If you know Agra Road, you know it gets very busy and quite dusty with all the trucks passing by. We are near K K Paradise, which is a big landmark people use to find us. Usually, they call and say they are lost near the marriage garden, and we tell them to look for our small blue board. The hospital has been here for a good while. Inside, it smells like clove oil and cleaning stuff, which I guess is normal for a dental place. We have three chairs now because it was getting too crowded with just two. The floor is that old-fashioned white stone that stays cool even when it is baking hot outside. We get a lot of people from the nearby colonies like Krishna Nagar. Sometimes the water pressure in the building is low, so we have to keep buckets filled just in case. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for what we need. The local tea seller brings us glasses of hot chai on his tray every afternoon. We usually take a break then. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the cleaning and the checkups. It’s a lot of standing all day, and my back hurts by seven o'clock, but that’s the job. We just keep going, day after day, helping whoever walks through the door with their tooth problems.
