Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd.

Our office is at 231, Parshav Nath Nagar, right in the Gandhi Vihar Yojna area near the Jaipur airport. You can hear the planes taking off sometimes, which took us a while to get used to. We’ve been operating this branch of Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. for a while now. It’s a practical setup. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of project photos pinned up on the walls. Jaipur is a beautiful place, but when you’re working in construction, you mostly notice the heat and the dust. We try to keep the office cool enough to work, but it is a constant battle during the summer months. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of us show up in boots and work clothes because we’re usually headed out to a site anyway. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff from this spot. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking on supplies. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll just see us working. We like it that way because it is straightforward. We’ve built a good relationship with the local vendors around here. We just want to get the work done without a lot of fuss. It’s a bit noisy and a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s our home base.
