Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd

Our office for Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd is located in the village of Balesariya, which is in the Banera tehsil of Bhilwara district, Rajasthan. It’s a pretty rural spot, and the landscape is quite dry most of the year. We operate out of a local building that serves as our main base for the area. Most of the staff here are used to the heat and the dust that comes with working in this part of the country. We don't have a lot of fancy amenities. It’s mostly just a place to keep our records, meet with local workers, and plan out the week’s tasks. We spend a lot of our time out in the sun, so the office is a welcome relief for some shade. We drink a lot of water and tea throughout the day. The village is small, so everyone knows who we are. We have a good relationship with the local people in Balesariya. Our work involves a lot of coordination with suppliers from Bhilwara and making sure the project timelines are met. It’s a tough environment but we’ve built a solid routine. We don’t have any big corporate signs or modern glass offices. It’s just a stone and brick building where we get things done. We focus on the practical side of construction and leave the fancy talk for someone else. It’s a quiet but busy life for us here in Rajasthan.
