Shambhoo Dayal & Co

Our shop is at 108 Chandpole Bazar, inside Dinanath Ji Ki Gali. If you know the old city, you know that this area is always packed with people, rickshaws, and cows. It’s a very old part of town, and our building has been here for longer than any of us. We are a traditional trading firm. The office inside is small and filled with heavy wooden furniture that’s been polished by years of use. We keep our records in big ledgers, though we do have a computer now for the modern stuff. The air is always full of the sounds from the bazar outside—the temple bells, the street vendors, and the general hum of thousands of people. It can be quite loud, but we’ve learned to work through it. We handle all sorts of goods and have long-standing relationships with other traders in the gali. Sometimes we sit outside on a small bench to have our tea and watch the world go by. Shambhoo Dayal & Co isn't a place for fancy meetings. It’s a place where we do honest business with people we’ve known for decades. We don't have a website or a marketing plan. We just rely on our reputation and the fact that we’ve been in this same spot in Chandpole for generations. It’s a busy, dusty, but very rewarding place to be. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by each day.
