Shakun Real Estate & To Let Service is right on Station Road, located at number 2. If you find the Heritage Inn Hotel, we are directly across from it. Being near the station means it gets quite loud and busy with travelers and commuters, but it’s a good spot for a business like ours. We do a lot of "to let" work, helping people find rooms or houses to rent for short or long terms. We also handle buying and selling, but the rentals keep us very busy. The office is small and usually has people coming in and out all day long. We have a lot of listings on the wall and in our notebooks. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a working space with maps and keys everywhere. We know the landlords around here and we know which places are well-maintained. When someone gets off a train and needs a place to stay, they often end up at our door. We try to find them something that fits their budget without making it too complicated. The paperwork is what it is, and we try to get through it as fast as possible. We’ve been at this location for a while, so we’ve seen the street change quite a bit. It’s a practical business for a practical area. Some days the trains are delayed and it gets even more crowded outside, but we just keep going and help the next person.
