My name is Shailendra Singh. You can find me at 149 in Prithviraj Nagar, which is over by Maharani Farm near the Gopalpura Byepass. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to delivery drivers sometimes, but once you’re here, it’s a good spot. I spend a lot of my time at this location. Prithviraj Nagar is a growing area, so there is always some construction noise or new people moving in nearby. My space at 149 is pretty modest. I’ve got my tools and my desk, and that’s about all I need. I’m not one for fancy decorations or expensive furniture. The floor is a bit scuffed and the shelves are crowded with things I’ve collected over the years. I usually have the radio playing softly in the background while I work. Being close to Maharani Farm is nice because there’s a bit more greenery than you get in the city center. The Gopalpura Byepass makes it easy to get to other parts of town when I have to go out. I’ve lived in this area for several years now and I’ve seen it turn from empty plots to a busy neighborhood. My daily routine is pretty set. I wake up, have my breakfast, and then I’m right here at 149 getting to it. It’s a simple life and the work keeps me busy enough. I don't mind the noise much because it feels like progress is being made.
