Jaipur Shalby Hospital

Jaipur Shalby Hospital is located right in Chitrakoot. We spend a lot of time here in these halls. It is a hospital, so things are usually moving fast from the moment we open the doors. I walk into work and see the same faces at the reception desk every day. Jaipur is a busy city, and this part of Chitrakoot has its own specific rhythm. People come in with all sorts of health problems, looking for some help. Some days it is surprisingly quiet, but mostly we are just trying to keep up with the endless paperwork and making sure everyone gets seen by someone. The hallways have that very specific smell of cleaning supplies that you only find in medical places. We have been here for a while now. It isn't always an easy job, especially when the waiting room gets completely full on a Monday morning. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or we run out of chairs in the lobby, but we just make it work. My own desk is tucked in a corner where I can see most of the front entrance. It is interesting to watch people. Families sit together, just waiting for any kind of news. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of things. It is just what we do every day. The building itself is sturdy and practical, nothing too fancy, but it does the job for the folks living in this town.
