Sarvotam Italia Marble

Raja Park is a really busy area to have a marble shop. We are located at B-4 on Govind Marg, right in the thick of things. It’s a good spot for business, but parking can be a real headache for our customers because the road is always so crowded. We spend our days surrounded by these big, heavy slabs of stone. Sarvotam Italia Marble has been here long enough that most of the locals know exactly which building we are in. People come in looking for something nice to put on their floors or walls. We just show them what we have in stock at the moment. Marble is incredibly heavy and cold to touch, and moving it around is a lot of physical work for the guys. The shop gets very dusty from the stone, no matter how many times we try to sweep it out. We have different types of Italian marble piled up everywhere. We don't really do the fancy sales pitch or use big words. We just tell people where the stone came from and what the cost per square foot is. Sometimes we sit on the wooden stools and wait for the afternoon heat to pass. It’s a lot of manual labor, loading and unloading the trucks that come in from the quarries. The guys who work here are used to the heavy lifting. We see all kinds of people, from big contractors to homeowners. Everyone wants something a bit different for their house and we just show them the slabs.
