Sonal Prints

Sonal Prints is located in the Royal Building, right across from Paliwal Garden near the Jaipuri Gate in Sanganer. Sanganer is a place known for its long history with fabrics, and we are glad to be a small part of that. Our workspace isn't very large, but we make it work. We spend our days surrounded by patterns and blocks and different types of cloth. Being opposite Paliwal Garden makes it easy for folks to find us when they come into this part of town. The Royal Building has a lot of activity, so there is always a bit of noise and movement around Sonal Prints. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything. It is mostly just the sound of work being done and the smell of the dyes. We started here because we wanted to keep the local tradition going in our own way. Some days the piles of fabric get a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We aren't interested in being the biggest name in Sanganer, just in doing what we know how to do. If you happen to be passing Jaipuri Gate, you can find us easily. We open up early and stay until the light fades or the work is finished for the day. It’s just us, some cloth, and the daily routine at the shop. We like the way the colors look when they are drying in the sun.
