Sakhindian Nidhi Limited is tucked away in Gali No-9 at Sahu Ka Bagicha in Pratap Nagar. If you know the area, it's near the residence of Shri Radheshayam Ji. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty quiet most of the time. We work out of a small space that feels more like a home than a bank office. I think that makes people feel a bit more comfortable when they visit. We have a few desks and a couple of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. Most of our work involves keeping track of the small savings of the local people. We aren't a huge operation. It’s mostly just a few of us handling the daily entries and answering the phone. The garden area nearby gives a nice view when we take a break. Sometimes kids are playing outside in the lane, and you can hear them through the window. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate rules that don't make sense. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s part of the life here. We know the families around here and they know us. It’s a simple setup for a simple business. We try to keep things tidy but the paperwork always seems to grow.
