S P M Designs

If you’re looking for us, we are at Plot No. 183 on the first floor. It’s in Lane No 4B in Panchyawala, off the New Sirsi Road. It’s a bit of a quiet lane, which is nice because we can focus on our design work without too much distraction. The office is one of those places where the light is always on late. We have our computers set up and there are sketches pinned to the walls everywhere. It’s not a polished studio. It feels more like a workshop. We started S P M Designs because we wanted a place to just do our own thing. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the door to finishing the drawings. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying stuff. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to know they’re in the right place. Most of our days are spent sitting at the desks, drinking water, and clicking away on the keyboards. We don't really have a set routine, we just work until the tasks are done. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local shop to get some biscuits or tea. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just do the work we know how to do and try to keep things organized enough to find what we need.
