S.M.S Hospital

If you live around here, you definitely know S.M.S Hospital on Tonk Road. It’s one of those landmarks that everyone uses for directions. The building itself is huge and has a lot of history to it. Because we’re right on Tonk Road, it’s never really quiet. There’s the sound of traffic outside and the constant bustle of people inside the lobby. We’ve been operating here for years, and the place feels lived-in. The walls are plain, and the benches in the waiting areas have seen better days, but they do the job. We have a lot of different departments spread out across the building, so there is always a lot of walking involved for both the staff and the patients. It’s not a polished or corporate kind of place. We don’t have a team of people writing fancy mission statements. It’s just a lot of doctors, nurses, and staff members trying to keep up with the daily crowd. Some days it feels like there are more people than we can handle, but we just keep going. The staff often takes their tea breaks at the small stalls just outside the gates to get a bit of fresh air. We don't do any advertising because everyone already knows we are here. It’s just a part of the city. We provide a place for people to come when they need medical help, and we’ve been doing it that way for a long time.
