S K Electric Co is located at 1-B-8, Marwar House on M I Road in New Colony. It’s an easy enough place to find once you are on the main road. Marwar House is an old building and we’ve been in this spot for quite some time. The office is full of various bits of electrical things and ledgers. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. There’s a certain smell of old paper and maybe a bit of ozone. M I Road is always packed with people and cars, so it’s never quiet outside. We have a few ceiling fans that spin all day to keep the air moving. Our desks are covered in notes and pens. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background. Someone is always coming or going, whether it’s a delivery or a neighbor stopping in to chat. New Colony is a familiar place for us. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years while we stayed put. It’s a busy life but we like the pace. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some chairs for whoever comes in. We focus on the daily tasks and try to keep up with the paperwork. It’s just how we run things here. There is a stack of newspapers in the corner that we keep for packing glass. The light switch by the door is a little loose so you have to be careful when you turn it on. We've got a small kettle for tea.
