Jaipur is a busy city, and Jhotwara has its own pace. The streets can get pretty crowded, especially around the Phatak. Our office isn't fancy. It’s a practical space where we handle all the planning and the logistics for the projects we have going on. There’s usually blueprints spread out on the tables and people arguing over schedules. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, so the office is sometimes quiet and sometimes chaotic. We’ve been in this part of Rajasthan for a while. We know the local suppliers and the guys who handle the transport. It’s a lot of juggling. We don’t have a lot of time for making things look pretty; we just need the space to work. The tea stall down the street is where we usually end up when we need a break. It's a real place with real problems like leaky taps or slow internet sometimes. We just deal with it and keep moving. Our focus is just on the next task at hand. It’s a long way from those corporate towers you see in the big metros, and we like it that way. It's our office.
