Rungta Hospital

Rungta Hospital is right here in Malviya Nagar. I’ve been working here for a while now and the mornings are usually the busiest part of the day. You see people coming in from all over the neighborhood. The sun hits the front windows around ten o'clock. It gets pretty warm in the lobby then. We have a small desk where we keep the records. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise but we're used to it. Malviya Nagar has changed a lot lately with more shops opening up nearby. We just stay focused on what needs doing. It’s not a fancy place but it’s where we spend most of our time. The floors get mopped every hour and the smell of cleaner is something you just get used to. I usually bring my own lunch and eat it in the small break room in the back. There’s a tea stall just down the street that everyone goes to during the afternoon slump. We see all kinds of people, from young kids to the elderly who’ve lived in this part of town forever. It’s just a regular hospital doing regular work every single day. We don’t have those big shiny signs you see in the city center but people know where we are. Malviya Nagar is a good spot for us because it's central for a lot of families living nearby. The day usually ends around eight when the night shift takes over.
