Inside 156, we try to keep things a bit calmer. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, which fits the vibe of Johari Bazar perfectly. We spend our days arranging the stock and making sure the shop looks decent. Sometimes we have a little chat with the shopkeeper next door during a slow hour. It’s a tight-knit community here. We don't have a website with all kinds of promises. We just have our physical shop and our reputation among the locals. If you're walking through the bazaar, you can't miss the number 156. We’re just there, doing our thing every single day. It’s a lot of work but we don't mind the noise one bit. It’s just home.
