Up on the second floor of Ajay Appartment at C-106, our Jaipur office overlooks the busy Chitrakoot Road. Rmc Readymix India Pvt. Ltd. handles things from here in Vidyut Nagar `C`. It’s a bit of a different setup being in an apartment building, but it works for us. We handle the planning and the orders while the heavy stuff happens on the ground. Jaipur can be incredibly hot, and you can feel that dry heat even inside sometimes. We’ve got the 302 021 area covered as much as we can. The stairs up to the second floor keep us moving, that’s for sure. It is a regular workplace where we spend our hours looking at maps and schedules. There is nothing polished about our space; it is full of papers, old files, and the sound of the traffic outside on Chitrakoot Road. We see a lot of people coming in to discuss their building plans. We don't use big words or try to act like a giant corporation. We are just a local team in Rajasthan trying to make sure the concrete gets to where it’s supposed to go. Life here is simple. We start early, deal with whatever issues pop up, and try to finish before it gets too late. It’s a practical way to run a business in this part of town. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick ten minute break.
