Over at Gha-59 in Bhawani Nagar, Murlipura, we set up our office for Rmc Ready Mix India Pvt Ltd. Jaipur is a beautiful place, but in Murlipura, things are a bit more practical and focused on the day-to-day work. Our spot is pretty straightforward. We don't have any big corporate signs, just the address on the door. Inside, it’s a lot of talk about cement, sand, and delivery schedules. The Rajasthan sun can be pretty brutal, so we’ve got a couple of fans going all day long to keep the air moving. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while now, and we’ve seen it grow quite a bit. There’s always a bit of sand in the air, which I guess is fitting for a concrete company. We spend a lot of time on the mobile phones, talking to drivers who are navigating the Jaipur traffic. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office reflects that. We have some basic furniture and a lot of logbooks. People from the nearby shops sometimes drop in for a chat or to ask for help with a small project. We like being part of Bhawani Nagar because it feels like a real community where people actually know each other's names. It’s just us, doing our part to help build the local houses and shops, one load of ready-mix at a time. It’s hard work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
