Reshma Batteries

Our place is at 2 Transport Nagar, right on the Main 80 Feet Road. Specifically, we are at Govindpura Plot No E 130. It’s a busy spot near Sita Devi Hospital and Hawa Sadak. Being in Transport Nagar means there is never a quiet moment. Trucks are always idling nearby and there is a lot of heavy lifting. We handle batteries here, so the air usually has that faint metallic smell. The floor is concrete and has some stains from years of moving heavy equipment around. We have a small area in the front where we talk to people and a much larger space in the back for the stock. It gets quite dusty with the road being so close, so we are always wiping things down. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working the floor and making sure the orders are ready. Some days are slow and we just watch the traffic on the 80 feet road, but most days we are on our feet until closing time. It’s a grit-and-grind kind of life in this part of town. We’ve got a good routine going. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we have everything we need to keep things running. It’s a practical business for a practical neighborhood. We just do the work and go home when the sun sets.
