We’re set up in Nagaur, right behind the Kisan Hostel and near Bakath Sagar. It’s a dry area, and you can definitely feel the Rajasthan heat throughout the year. The location is easy to find because most people in town know where the hostel is. It’s a simple building, nothing too big or impressive, but it serves our purposes well enough. We have a small staff here handling the local operations. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have any big corporate signs out front, so it looks like any other office in the neighborhood. We deal with the day-to-day stuff that needs to get done for the company’s interests in this region. Being near Bakath Sagar is nice, even if we’re usually too busy to go for a walk. The dust can be a bit of a problem, so we’re constantly cleaning the desks and the equipment. We keep a regular schedule, starting early and finishing up before it gets too dark. It’s a straightforward way to work. There aren’t many distractions around here, which helps us stay on task. We just focus on our own corner of the business, making sure the records are straight and the local needs are met without any unnecessary drama or complications. It’s a quiet life here, but we stay very busy with the paperwork and managing local accounts.
