Rekha Nemani

I’m Rekha and I work out of C-40 in Dev Nagar, right off Tonk Road. It’s a busy part of the city with people always rushing by. My workspace is usually a bit of a mess with all the papers and things I have to keep track of every day. People come by when they need help with their projects or have questions. I’ve been at this location for a good amount of time. Tonk Road is always full of cars so it’s easy for people to find the turn into Dev Nagar once they get close. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s mostly just me doing the work here. Sometimes I have a lot to do and the whole day just disappears before I know it. Other times it’s quiet and I can catch up on filing or cleaning the desk. I like being my own boss even if it means I have to do every single thing myself. The office gets a lot of sun in the afternoon which makes it a nice place to sit. I’ve lived and worked around here long enough that I know all the shortcuts to avoid the traffic. Most of my clients are just local people who heard my name from a neighbor or a friend. I try to keep things straightforward and not use a lot of complicated words. It’s just a regular business in a regular neighborhood.
