Regional Walks

We’re located at 33, Sampati Colony, in the Rawal Ji Ka Bandha area of Hasanpura. This is a bit of a different part of Jaipur compared to the big malls and the high streets. It’s got a much more residential feel to it here. Regional Walks is our small operation. We mostly focus on getting people out to see different parts of the city on foot. Our office is just a room in the colony where we keep all our gear and the maps we use. It’s not a formal place at all. We often just sit around and talk about the best routes to take through the older parts of town. It’s a quiet neighborhood, which makes it nice for planning things out. We’ve lived in Jaipur for many years, so we know the back lanes and the shortcuts pretty well. Sometimes we have a cup of tea with the neighbors before we head out for the day. We don’t have a big corporate office or any fancy equipment. It’s just us and our walking shoes. We spend a lot of our time outside, but this is where we do all the admin work. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road to get to us, but that’s fine with us. We keep our records in some old notebooks and on a laptop that has seen better days. It’s a simple life.
