Our office is tucked away at D-43 Janpath in the Shyam Nagar area. It is a pretty busy spot and the traffic outside can get loud during the afternoons. Inside, we have our desks set up for all the technical work that comes with running an infrastructure and power company. There are always rolls of blueprints sitting around and someone is usually on the phone talking about solar panels or site layouts. We have been here for a good while now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are mostly focused on the projects we have going on outside the office. Most of the staff comes in early to avoid the heat, and we usually take turns getting tea from the stall down the street. It is not a very fancy place, just a workspace where we keep track of our equipment and the crews out in the field. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but we just wait it out and keep going. We have a small area where visitors can sit, though it mostly stays occupied by boxes of files or spare parts. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. Being in Shyam Nagar is handy because most of our suppliers are nearby. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the daily tasks get handled without too much fuss or extra noise.
