Walking down Deenanath Ji Ki Gali in Chandpole Bazar, you will eventually find us. Rawat Brokers has been situated here in the old part of the city for a long time now. The lanes are narrow, so you can't really bring a big car down here, but that is just how the bazar is. Our office is a small room where we keep all our files and ledgers stacked up. It gets quite warm in the summer months, and the old ceiling fan does its best to keep us cool. We spend most of the morning meeting with people who have property or business deals to discuss. Everything happens over a cup of tea, and sometimes a conversation that should take ten minutes ends up taking an hour. That is just the way we like to do things—unhurried and personal. There is a lot of history in these streets, and we feel like we are a small part of it. We don't have a website or anything like that because most people just know where to find us. Usually, someone will point you in the right direction if you get lost near the temple. We handle a bit of everything, from small rentals to bigger land deals, and we try to be as straightforward as possible about the details. It is a busy life, but it is a good one here in the bazar.
