Ratan Netralaya

Out here on Vijay Path in Tilak Nagar, things stay pretty steady at Ratan Netralaya. It is a small setup at A-7 where we see people coming in for their eyes. The street outside can get a bit loud with all the traffic, but inside we keep things moving along as best as we can. We have a few chairs for waiting and the usual equipment you would expect to see in an eye clinic. It isn't a massive hospital with hundreds of beds and nurses everywhere. It is more of a neighborhood spot where people stop by when they have a bit of trouble seeing or just need a quick check. Some folks have been coming to us for years. We know the regulars by name usually. The rooms are a bit tight, but we make do with the space we have. We do not spend much on decorations or flashy signs. The focus is just on the patients who walk through the door. Usually, it is busiest in the evenings after people get off work. We try to get through the appointments without making people wait too long, though sometimes it cannot be helped. It is a simple operation. We open up in the morning, clean the floors, and start the day. There is no big corporate team behind us, just a handful of staff trying to do their jobs right in this part of Jaipur. It feels like a normal part of the community.
