Ramchander Motilal Exim

Ramganj Bazar is a place where you really feel the pulse of the city. Our office, Ramchander Motilal Exim, is at 61, Fatehpuriya Bhawan. The building itself has a lot of character, with old style architecture and those heavy doors that have been there forever. It’s a busy bazaar outside, so there is always the sound of rickshaws and vendors calling out. Inside the bhawan, it’s a bit more sheltered, but you still feel the energy. We have several rooms filled with files and samples. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We use old metal fans that make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving. Our desks are covered in papers and ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the corridors and small rooms. We don't have any big signs or neon lights. People who need to find us usually know the way or they ask someone at the tea stall nearby. Every day is pretty much the same—come in, check the shipments, talk to the transporters, and handle the paperwork. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of things. We just do our bit in this corner of the bazaar and then head home.
