You can find our iron yard at Plot No. 149 on the Officers Campus Main Sirsi Road. We are right near the Metro Hospital, which makes it easy to explain to drivers where we are. It’s mostly an open space filled with stacks of iron rods and sheets. We spend a lot of time outside in the yard, moving heavy stuff around with the crane or by hand when we have to. It's a messy job, and your hands are always stained by the end of the day. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just buying and selling iron. The traffic on Sirsi Road can be a real pain during the morning rush, but being near the hospital means people usually know the landmark. We’ve got a small cabin where we sit to do the billing and talk to customers. It’s not air-conditioned or anything, just a desk and some chairs. We’ve been operating from this campus for a while. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website that looks professional. Most of our business comes from people driving by or word of mouth from local builders who need materials for their sites. It’s a simple operation. We unload the trucks when they arrive from the mills and then load up the smaller ones for the local projects. It’s loud, it’s heavy, and it’s what we do every day until the sun goes down.
