Rajasthan Arts

Rajasthan Arts is located out at Bagru Phase 2 G 25. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s where all the real work happens for us. The space at G 25 is more of a workshop than a fancy office. We have our tools and our materials spread out everywhere. It’s a bit dusty and loud most of the time, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things. We don’t have any slick marketing people telling us what to say. We’re just a bunch of folks who enjoy the craft. We’ve been in Bagru Phase 2 for a long time and we know the other people working around here. It’s a community of makers. We don’t really have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure that whatever we finish is something we aren't embarrassed by. Sometimes we have to redo things when they don't turn out right, which can be frustrating, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. If people want to see what we do, they usually just come to the back and look at what’s on the benches. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don’t expect to get rich, we just want to keep the doors open and keep working at G 25.
