Rag Hospital

Our place, Rag Hospital, is situated on Shipra Path, right at the VT road tiraha in Mansarovar. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We’ve been here in Mansarovar for a while, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture at the tiraha. The hospital is a practical building. We didn't spend a lot on fancy decorations or modern art. We spent it on the equipment and making sure we have enough beds. I’m usually running around between the different wings, making sure everything is where it should be. The VT road area is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people in Mansarovar to get to. We have a lot of staff who live just a few blocks away. It feels more like a community than a big institution. We don't have a corporate office somewhere else telling us what to do. It’s just us here at the hospital. We see people for all kinds of reasons. Some days are more stressful than others, but we just take it as it comes. We keep things simple. If someone needs help, we do what we can. The lobby is just a place to wait, nothing more. We aren't trying to sell anyone on anything. We’re just a hospital at the corner of Shipra Path and VT road. That’s our story, if you can even call it that. Just work and helping people out.
