Radium Handmade Paper Cones & Boards

Radium Handmade Paper Cones & Boards is located in Kagazi Mohalla, over in Chaman Colony in Sanganer. This area is known for paper, and we’ve been part of it for quite some time. Our place is usually full of the smell of wet pulp and drying boards. It’s a damp kind of work, so the floors are almost always a little wet. We have big racks where we lay things out to dry, and if the sun isn't out, everything takes much longer. Sanganer is a busy place, and Kagazi Mohalla is even busier with everyone doing similar work. Our building is nothing special, just some rooms and a large open area for the vats. We don't have a fancy office or anywhere comfortable to sit, mostly just stools and workbenches. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to work through the weekends to catch up. We use old methods because that’s what we learned from the people before us. There is always a lot of heavy lifting involved with the paper boards. Chaman Colony is a tight-knit spot, and we know most of the people working on our street. It isn't a glamorous job, and our clothes usually have bits of fiber on them. We just keep at it every day because that’s the way things are done here at Radium.
