We are over at A-85, Road No. 9 in the V.K.I. Area. That’s where Radika Exim operates from. The V.K.I. Area is a massive industrial zone, and Road No. 9 is usually lined with trucks waiting to load or unload. Our building is a standard industrial plot. We do a lot of export and import work, so we are always checking papers and tracking containers. It’s not a quiet office. There’s always someone shouting across the floor or a truck driver asking for directions. We have a small crew that handles the packing and the paperwork. We don’t have fancy uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of moving boxes and typing out invoices. The office gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving. We aren't into big corporate speeches. We just want to get the goods out on time so they don't get stuck at the port. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to send our emails, which can be frustrating. We know most of the other business owners on Road No. 9. We help each other out when someone’s crane breaks down or if someone needs extra packing tape. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a business. We just keep our heads down and work through the heat of the afternoon.
