Radha Prints

We've been here on Main Road in Sanganer for a while now. It’s right across from the stadium, so it gets pretty busy when there’s a game or some event going on. Radha Prints is where we spend all our hours. The shop is full of fabric and the smell of ink is always in the air. We do a lot of printing here, and there’s always stacks of cloth waiting to be worked on. It’s dusty because of the road, but we try to keep the fabrics clean as best as we can. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the regular work that people need. Sometimes we are running behind because the weather isn't good for drying the dyes, but we get it done eventually. My brother and I manage things, and we have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the printing beds. The traffic outside never seems to stop. You can see the stadium lights from our front door in the evenings. We don't have a big office or anything, just the work tables and the storage space for the rolls. It’s a lot of manual work, moving cloth around and making sure the colors look okay. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’ve stayed in the same spot for years. It’s a simple life, mostly just making sure the prints come out right and the orders are ready for pickup. People find us easily because of the location and we like it that way.
