Our office is located at Plot No-D-80 in the Chandpole Anaj Mandi. Being in the grain market means there is constant activity from early in the morning until late at night. There are always sacks being moved and big deals being made between traders. We work as brokers, which means we spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who come into the mandi looking for supplies. It is a busy environment and it can get quite loud with all the shouting and the noise of the carts moving on the stone floors. We do not have a fancy setup at all, just a small space with a wooden desk and some chairs where we can sit and talk business. We have been in this market for a long time, so we know most of the faces around here. It is all about knowing who has the stock and who needs to buy it. We do not use a lot of fancy technology for our daily work. A lot of it is still done with a simple notebook and a pen. It is a practical business for practical people. We do not try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just focus on the trade and making sure everyone is satisfied with the deals we help put together. Every day is different in the Anaj Mandi.
