Lakhi Gems

We are located over in Ganesh Colony at A20, right near the Jharkhand Moad. It’s a nice spot because the Jharkhand Temple is just a short walk away. You can often hear the bells ringing from there while we are working. Lakhi Gems is basically just us sitting at our benches, looking at stones all day. It’s quiet work, and you need good eyes for it. We’ve been at this address for years, and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We aren't a big jewelry store with bright lights and security guards at the door. It’s more of a workshop feel here. We spend a lot of time sorting through different stones and making sure everything looks right. Sometimes the light isn't great, so we have to move closer to the window to see better. We get visitors who are looking for something specific, and we just sit down and talk with them. There’s no pressure or anything. We just like what we do. The Ganesh Colony area is pretty peaceful, which helps when you’re trying to focus on small details. We’ve lived and worked around here for a long time, so we’ve seen the temple and the roads change over the years. If you’re ever near Jharkhand Moad, you can just ask someone for the gem shop at A20, and they’ll probably point you our way. We’re just regular folks doing what we know and trying to keep the tradition going. We just take it day by day.
