Pushp Forging (P) Ltd

Our shop is at Plot No 141 in Shree Ram Nagar -B, right off Kalwar Road in Jhotwara, Jaipur. Forging is noisy and hot work, so the atmosphere around here is usually pretty intense. We have the hammers and the furnaces going for most of the day. It's not a clean office job; we all end up with some dirt on us by the time we leave. The office part is just a small room where we keep the orders and the logs. We've been in this part of Jaipur for some time now. People in the neighborhood know the sound of our machines. We work with metal every day, making sure the shapes are right and the strength is there. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy this kind of work. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When an order comes in, we get to work on it. The heat in Jaipur during the summer makes the forge feel even hotter, but we just get through it. We aren't interested in looking fancy; we just want the pieces we make to be correct. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the temperature. We stay busy and try to keep the equipment running like it should. Usually, by the time we close up for the night, we are all pretty tired but it’s a good kind of tired because we finished what was needed.
