Our office in Shivpuri is at G-60 in the Mohani Sagar Colony. It’s a fairly quiet neighborhood which is a nice change from some of the bigger project sites we have to visit. The office itself is just a regular building that we’ve converted to fit our needs. We have a few desks pushed together in the middle of the main room and some shelves against the walls for all the technical manuals. It feels a bit like a home because of the way the rooms are laid out. We usually have the windows open to let in a breeze, though that means we have to deal with the occasional bug or bird flying in. There isn’t a whole lot of foot traffic around here, so it’s mostly just us and the occasional delivery driver. We spend our mornings going over the progress reports and then most of the team heads out to check on things in the field. The coffee here isn't great, mostly just instant stuff we make ourselves in the back. We’ve got a small yard where we park the company jeep and sometimes we just stand out there to talk when the office feels too small. It’s a low-key place to work and it suits the way we handle things in this part of Madhya Pradesh. We just focus on the daily list and try to stay ahead of the deadlines.
