Prithvi Real Estate is up on the first floor at A-11 in the New Anaz Mandi area of Chandpole. Being in the Mandi means it’s always loud and full of activity from early morning. There are trucks, carts, and people everywhere. Our office is a bit of a climb up the stairs, and once you get inside, it’s a relief from the heat and noise of the market below. We have some old wooden furniture and a lot of registers where we write down the details of the shops and godowns in the area. Chandpole is an old part of town, so the buildings have a lot of character, but they also have their share of problems like old wiring or narrow stairs. We help people navigate the commercial side of things around here. It’s a lot of work dealing with the local traders and making sure everyone is on the same page. We don't have a shiny website or anything like that. Most of our work is done face-to-face over a cup of tea. We’ve seen many businesses start and end in this Mandi. It’s a tough place to work but it’s real. We just try to keep the records straight and help people find a spot for their trade. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the middle of all the action. The market has its own rhythm and we have learned to live by it over the many years.
