Prakash Arts

We have been here at Prakash Arts for quite a while now. Our shop is tucked away at the 4th Crossing on Khazane Vaalo Ka Rasta, right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar. It gets pretty crowded around here during the day with all the shoppers and traffic passing through. Most days, we just open up early and start on whatever work is waiting for us. It is dusty and loud outside but inside we just focus on the art. People sometimes have a hard time finding the exact turn because the lanes all look the same, but once they see our sign, they know they are in the right spot. We don't have anything fancy, just our tools and some space to work. The building is old and shows its age, but it feels like home to us. My father used to sit in the same spot, and now I do. We see the same tea seller go by every afternoon and the neighbors always stop to chat about the weather or the price of things. It is just a normal life here in the bazar. We don't spend much time on the internet or worrying about big business things. We just try to finish what we started so we can go home to our families at night. If you walk down the rasta, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. That is just how it is, I suppose.
