Prabhu Narayan & Company is based right in the heart of Ramganj Bazar. This is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and the buildings have a lot of history to them. Our place is no different. It’s a bit dusty and the shelves are heavy with the stuff we’ve been trading for years. We don't have a fancy sign or a modern office; it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of paperwork piled up in stacks. The sounds of the bazar come right through the door—rickshaws, people shouting, and the general hum of the market. We've been here long enough that we don't even notice the noise anymore. Dealing with people in Ramganj takes a bit of patience because it’s always busy, but we’ve got our routine down. We deal with our suppliers and our regulars in a way that’s worked for us for a long time. There’s no marketing department here, just us answering the phone and writing out bills by hand or on the old computer. The lights are a little dim in the back, and we usually have a fan going to keep the air moving. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do, and we don't see a reason to change how things are handled after all this time.
