If you come looking for Portjaypore, you have to find Vidhyut Nagar first. We are at number 16 on the first floor. It’s not a hard place to find, but you do have to walk up those stairs since there isn't an elevator. The first floor is okay because it’s not too high up if the power goes out, which happens sometimes around here. We’ve been working out of this space for a bit, and it’s basically just a few rooms filled with what we need to get through the day. There’s a lot of sunlight that comes through the windows in the morning, which is nice, but it can get a bit bright on the computer screens if we don't pull the blinds. We don't really do much decorating. Most of the walls are just covered in calendars or notes we’ve taped up so we don't forget things. Vidhyut Nagar is a decent area to be in. It feels like a regular neighborhood where people are just going about their business. We have our desks pushed together mostly. It makes it easier to talk to each other without having to shout across the room. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery or just stopping by to talk about a project. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry in the late afternoon. It’s a simple setup, nothing special to look at, but we manage to stay busy.
