Plastomet

You can find us over at C-172, Road No. 9-J in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area. The place is called Plastomet, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a shop in this part of town. There’s a lot of metal and plastic around, and the floor is usually covered in scraps. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but by the next morning, it’s back to the same. It’s a busy environment with a lot of noise from the tools. We don’t have any fancy offices or air conditioning in the main work area. We just open the doors and let the breeze in when it’s hot. Most of us have been doing this for a long time, so we know our way around the equipment. Sometimes things go wrong, or a part doesn't fit, and we have to figure it out as we go. It’s not a perfect system, but we make it work. We aren't big on marketing or trying to sound like a huge corporation. We’re just a local business trying to get the orders out on time. The neighborhood is full of similar shops, so there’s always someone to borrow a tool from if we’re in a pinch. It’s a grounded way to make a living. We just show up, do the tasks on the list, and keep the machines running. That’s the long and short of it.
